JODIE'S APPROACH
There is no diet plan, exercise routine, or supplement that will be sold or promoted. Jodie's approach is all natural. Why? Because that is what has worked for her as she has walked the journey of weight loss, pain reduction, increased muscle strength and tone, reduced sickness, and a younger, more vibrant appearance. Jodie begins with raising awareness and ends with bringing you into a more balanced state. Each person is unique, so this approach is not too structured, but rather is able to flex to the needs of the client.
BACKGROUND
Jodie’s journey to Health Coaching started over a decade ago, but it wasn’t until recently that it all came together. A graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Counseling, Jodie’s interest in working with individuals started very early. It was through a personal passion for wellness that Jodie decided to become a certified yoga teacher, obtaining her 200-hour CYT from CITYOGA School of Yoga and Health in Indianapolis, IN. Teaching yoga was one way to work with individuals on their wellness journey, but her continued passion to learn about healthy lifestyle, attitude, and nutritional choices led her toward pursuing an advanced coaching certificate through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute. Through this program, Jodie has learned practical, evidence based techniques for coaching people along the path toward wellness. Recently, Jodie also received her personal training certificate through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), learning the importance of functional movement and how crucial it is to stay active, especially through resistance training, as we age.
